NEXT CLASS: Sunday 12 April 7.30pm (Sydney/Melbourne/Canberra, Australia time)
Embodiment and grounding meditation classes help you learn how to experience yourself more and more fully inside your body. Learn how to find more grounding, calm, stillness, internal safety, spaciousness and vitality. Discover how to feel both internal and external support. 45 mins followed by optional Q & A, online via Zoom. $15 AUD per person. Small group class. These meditation classes are based on important aspects of the Realization Process practices. Sometimes I add other kinds of grounding meditation practices.
How can this help me?: Through difficult life experiences, everyday stresses, and the many ways we become disconnected in modern life from ourselves, each other and our environment, we disconnect from our bodies, to varying extents, losing our grounding. By reconnecting with yourself inside your body you can feel more whole, more secure, more present, gain clarity, deepen in your connection with your experience, with others and your environment, and more… It’s a gradual learning process, but many people experience benefits early on.
Joining information: Please 1. Pay by PayID to my mobile number 0481 572 503 and 2. Email me advising you have paid, and I will send you Zoom details before class. Who can attend?: The classes are tailored to the general public, because everyone can benefit from more embodiment and grounding. It’s very different to mindfulness meditation. You don’t need to be a spiritual seeker. No meditation experience is required.
(**Most people find these classes very calming. However, they may not be suitable for some people with an extreme abuse or neglect history. Such people may benefit from doing therapy first before they are ready to develop their embodiment. But some people with an extreme abuse or neglect history benefit from these practices from the beginning. Or it can change depending on the day. I can’t predict how any particular person will respond in a class setting, and you are your best gauge. If you start to feel significantly worse during the class, it may be better to err on the side of safety and leave the class, and we can discuss afterwards. This can happen with any kind of meditation practices. Gentleness rather than pushing through is the most beneficial, sustainable and nourishing approach**)
